Company streamlines manufacturing, production for savings for customers.

CULVER CITY, California---Discus Dental has announced reduced pricing for the company’s line of diode soft- tissue lasers in the U.S. and Canada.

The NV Microlaser is available for $5,995 MSRP, and the SoftlasePro for $3,995 MSRP. Discus has also reduced laser prices in all global regions in which it operates. This includes the EU, Asia, Middle East, and parts of Africa.

“Since completing our acquisition of Zap Lasers and rolling all laser production into our LEAN manufacturing model, we have been able to reduce the cost of producing these award-winning lasers right here in California,” said Scott Mejia, vice president of operations for Discus Dental.

“Passing those savings to our customers is just another way to help bring this advanced, practice-building technology to operatories throughout the world.”

The NV Microlaser has received numerous awards for its design while the SoftLase Pro safely and accurately performs soft-tissue management for surgical and nonsurgical procedures.

Discus Dental’s 120,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Ontario, Canada, is a fully automated, LEAN manufacturing operation that ships tens of thousands of orders monthly.
