The goal of Digital Apparatus is to help 100 children receive free preventive dental care for a year. The Tooth Fairy Beacon App brings the timeless fable of the Tooth Fairy to life, transforming mobile devices into a portal to give kids a peek into the Tooth Fairy’s world. Animation, sound effects ,and narration by the Tooth Fairy add a sense of wonderment and mystic to losing a tooth. The app includes a personalized, gender-specific experience for boys and girls, tips from America’s Toothfairy for children’s oral health, a personalized message from the Tooth Fairy, and a tooth scanner and beacon.“One of the toughest parts of my job is to take care not to disturb light little sleepers when removing a lost tooth from under the pillow,” said the Tooth Fairy. “This Beacon virtually eliminates this problem by having the children leave their teeth at the portal.
