Parkell has introduced the new ergonomically designed Digitest II tooth vitality tester. The new Digitest II encompasses the features of the original Digitest and more. The new Digitest II is ergonomically engineered for comfortable handling and use. Its line angles and molded design help maintain asepsis when wiping down the unit. The durable plastic housing withstands most disinfectants, as well as oral fluids. In addition, the Digitest II features three modes of operation--slow, medium, and fast. The modes are controlled with the push of one button. The speeds may also be preselected for the rate of stimulus prior to performing the test. The microprocessor controls the gradual increases of stimulus and the easy-to-view digital display stays lit 14 seconds after removal of your finger from the activation button, so there is time to record the reading. The unit also turns itself off to save battery life.Reduce stress and increase production with radio wave surgeryOnce more, the Digitest II generates a complex, pulsed waveform that repeats several times a second. This can mean greater comfort for patients because response to the stimuli is below the patient’s pain threshold. There are no spikes of pain. The Digitest comes with a 90-day, risk-free trial when purchased directly from Parkell, as well as the company’s five-year power unit warranty (the battery is not covered). The nine-volt battery may be replaced in the office. The device Includes: four autoclavable probe tips, ground wire and clip, and a nine-volt replaceable battery.
