Digital patient photos

Having a full set of patient images is a huge benefit for treatment planning, actual patient treatment, continuing care, and dental-legal documentation. With film, taking processing and storing images was such a time-consuming, expensive, and tedious task that we never did it. With digital photography it is fast, inexpensive, and easy. Every dentist should have a set of photographic images of every patient just as we have a set of X-rays. The only reason we don’t is a relic from our predigital past.
