Digital Clinic has teamed up with TeamSmile to highlight the dental needs of underprivileged children to waiting rooms across the country.
Dental offices that choose to support TeamSmile (or another charity of their choice) can have pertinent and compelling charitable information displayed to their patients digitally while they wait. In the case of TeamSmile, doctors that participate in the charity also have special content made available to them to let their patients know of their participation.

“I believe it’s the right thing to do”, said Dr. Bill Busch when talking about promoting charitable activities to his patients, “and it’s a great conversation starter for patients.”
Dr. Busch, along with Jason Krause, vice president of business development with Digital Clinic, are no strangers to social responsibility. Busch and Krause cofounded TeamSmile in 2006 after hearing a story about a young child who died due to complications from the lack of basic dental care. To date, they have helped more than 10,000 children receive free dental care through donated time and materials.
Digital Clinic, as an organization, is also committed to social responsibility.
In addition to giving charities a face in the waiting room with their dental digital signage solution, the company supports TeamSmile through financial and volunteer donations. This summer TeamSmile was in Digital Clinic’s backyard when the Minnesota Twins baseball organization hosted the most recent TeamSmile event. Digital Clinic was on hand to help out and once again saw firsthand the positive effects of social responsibility.
“This program helps a company do well by doing good,” said Krause. “It lets a company be a part of community change and after you experience an event in real-life. I most certainly think you will be changed as well!.”
