Smiles Across America program receives more than $21,000 in oral health products.
CHICAGO, Illinois--Oral Health America has announced that Church & Dwight has donated approximately 5,000 Arm & Hammer Spinbrush toothbrushes valued at more than $21,000 to benefit the Smiles Across America program. The program supports school-based and school-linked oral health programs across the country.
SAA distributes more than 500,000 units of donated dental product annually through the Product Donation Project, reaching more than 900 treatment partners since 1998. Products offered include sealants, toothbrushes, toothpaste, fluoride varnish, prophy paste, sugar free gum, dental flossers, and other supplies from leading corporate partners. To date, SAA has helped partners save more than $1 million through donated oral disease prevention supplies. "We are grateful to have the Arm & Hammer brand help us reach the most vulnerable communities in this country with resources to improve oral health,” said Beth Truett, president and CEO of Oral Health America. “Their generous donation makes brushing teeth fun and generates excitement around a daily routine with long-term benefits.” Spinbrush is a battery-powered toothbrush brand, offering a variety of power brushing options for kids, tweens, and adults. Spinbrush Kids’ products have been proven to help kids brush 38% longer as compared to a manual toothbrush with characters such as Thomas & Friends and Avengers Assemble who help make brushing fun.
