A Day at the Dentist

Many of the dental art images I have discovered have a dark even evil feel to them. This one is blatant. Others have a more subtle feel of pain and desperation about them.

Art is about expressing human emotions and inner feelings. I do not particularly like the image of dentistry as dark and painful, yet that is in fact a part of who we are and it is wise to recognize that and deal with it realistically.

Dental art is anything that depicts teeth or dentistry in an interesting or artistic way. If you have any suggestions for future Dental Art pieces please send them to me or give me a link. Thanks.

This week's piece can be found in the Dental Art section of the EOT blog.
