Henry Schein named as one of FORTUNE's Largest 300 Corporations in America

Henry Schein, Inc., now ranks #296 on the FORTUNE 500 list, marking its first appearance among America's 300 largest corporations since debuting at #487 in 2004.

Henry Schein, Inc., now ranks #296 on the FORTUNE 500 list, marking its first appearance among America's 300 largest corporations since debuting at #487 in 2004.

The FORTUNE 500 list is an annual ranking of America's largest corporations based on total revenues for their respective fiscal years. Included in the survey are companies that are incorporated in the U.S. and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency.

Henry Schein had net sales in 2012 of $8.9 billion, up from $4.1 billion when it first made the FORTUNE 500 list in 2004. The company has grown at a compound annual rate of 17 percent since Henry Schein became a public company in 1995.

In addition to the Company's 2013 FORTUNE 500 ranking, Henry Schein has been a FORTUNE "Most Admired" company for 12 consecutive years. In FORTUNE's 2013 list of the "World's Most Admired Companies," Henry Schein repeated its first-place ranking from 2012 in the categories of Social Responsibility, Global Competitiveness, Quality of Management and Quality of Products/Services and ranked first in the category of Use of Corporate Assets. Henry Schein ranked second among other industry companies in the four remaining categories (Innovation, People Management, Long-Term Investment and Financial Soundness).
