Dr. Esther Wilkins and Maria Perno Goldie Fun was had by all at the ballpark, and we were led by representatives from Young Dental.
Immediate Past President (then President) Susan Savage was introduced and we could all see her on the big screens!
Crest and Oral-B (P&G) sponsored a wonderful breakfast. There was entertainment, videos, and wonderful gifts with a theme “Celebrating a Century of Care.” Crest Oral-B Unveils Short Films at 2013 American Dental Hygienists’ Association Annual Session in Honor of the 100th Anniversary of Dental Hygiene.(1) Take a look, they are fabulous!
The first plenary session’s keynote was consumer advocate Erin Brockovich. The ADHA Institute for Oral Health Gala Master of Ceremonies was Debbie Reynolds, America's sweetheart!
Debbie Reynolds and Michael McCarthy, Lanmark 360 Saturday’s Plenary Session featured actor Geena Davis. I had the pleasure of meeting Geena, and spending a few minutes with her. She started the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, which is the only research-based organization working within the media and entertainment industry to engage, educate, and influence the need for gender balance, reducing stereotyping and creating a wide variety of female characters for entertainment targeting children 11 and under.(2) She delivered a humorous, insightful, and inspirational keynote. And she is tall, and very beautiful. Below you will see Geena Davis and me, better known as Mutt and Jeff!

Truly the celebration of the century!!
