Interactive Operatory Experience Provides Unique Opportunity to See the Latest Dental Hygiene Equipment and Systems
Henry Schein Dental, the U.S. dental business of Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC)--the world's largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, medical and animal health practitioners--and the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) celebrated 100 years of the dental hygiene profession by hosting the ADHA/Henry Schein Dream Center for the third year at ADHA's 90th Annual Session in Boston, Mass., from June 19-25, 2013.(1)
The Dream Center was a hands-on operatory experience built on the exhibit floor of ADHA's Annual Session. This interactive operatory experience on the ADHA exhibit floor provided a unique opportunity for attendees to see the latest dental hygiene equipment and systems.
The ADHA /Henry Schein Dental Dream Center featured a full operatory with six product stations for attendees to explore the latest in dental hygiene technology. Participating companies included are shown below.
Each product station in the ADHA/Henry Schein Dental Dream Center included a five-minute educational interaction with a sponsoring company representative to give participants the opportunity to receive a one-on-one, hands-on experience with featured products.

Identifi, oral cancer detection
The deep, penetrating power of Identafi multiple wavelengths is designed to enhance diagnostic efficacy as an adjunctive tool for early detection. The Identafi system uses the Identafi Multi-Spectral Fluorescence and Reflectance technology to enhance visualization of mucosal abnormalities such as oral cancer or premalignant dysplasia that may not be apparent to the naked eye.
Unlike other fluorescence technologies and dye systems, the Identafi is Multi-Spectral with three distinct color wavelengths, making it easier to distinguish lesion morphology and vasculature.(8,9)
