Tung Sheng "David" Wu
A bogus dentist who has been on the run since August will have one last chance to appear before a British Columbia court before a decision is made October 9. Tung Sheng "David" Wu previously offered dental services at discounted rates from a house in Burnaby, British Columbia. The case against him began when a client complained about the treatment she received from him. The College of Dental Surgeons of B.C. has been conducting an ongoing investigation on Wu, and has uncovered patient records as well as Wu's personal financial records, his car, recently issued passports and visas, and dental equipment which had been stolen from a training course in 2008. The college has spent significant funds while trying to track down Wu.
The hearing will proceed whether or not Wu is present.
