University of Louisville dental program ranks in top five, according to students

University of Louisville School of Dentistry ranks fourth among dental programs, ahead of schools like Harvard University, according to Graduateprograms.com, a website that polls current and recent graduate students through scholarship entries and social media platforms.

The rankings cover a period from September 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013, and call on students to review programs based on 15 categories including academic competitiveness, career support, financial aid, and quality of network. These scores are then compared across all ranked schools for that program and are translated into a final ranking. A given graduate program is not ranked until a minimum threshold of graduate student surveys is completed.

Ratings are based on a 10 star system (with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best) - University of Louisville scored 8.673.
