GoodMouth launched at the ADA session in New Orleans

Nov. 13, 2013

New dental health start-up, GoodMouth, introduced its unique subscription-based service at the American Dental Association Annual Session tradeshow in New Orleans. Founded from the idea that regularly replacing your toothbrush is an extraordinarily cost effective way to maintain overall health, GoodMouth is a subscription-based toothbrush delivery service dedicated to educating people about dental health while also helping those in need. For dental health professionals, GoodMouth is offering services to help differentiate and market dental practices. ALSO SEE: Arizona dentisty creates innovation for cancer and dry mouh patients

GoodMouth’s platform is simple. Old toothbrushes are dirty and can cause easily preventable oral diseases, which studies have found correlate to other health concerns such as heart disease and diabetes. It’s not just a healthcare problem. Over 164 million hours of work are lost every year due to oral health issues and dental visits. The solution GoodMouth offers is a subscription-based service that regularly delivers fresh toothbrushes, perfectly suited to your needs, right to your doorstep, for less than three dollars a month.

A trip to the dentist usually results in a free toothbrush, provided and paid for by the dental practice. With GoodMouth, patients subscribe to a regular delivery of toothbrushes along with oral hygiene kits and branded, personalized oral health will continually engage patients and serve as a valuable branding outlet for dental practices. The bi-monthly, monthly or twice monthly deliveries will keep oral hygiene on the mind and benefit both the patients and the practice.

Founded by former investment professional and documentary filmmaker, Craig Lifschutz, and dentist and entrepreneur, Dr. Seth Keiles, GoodMouth also aims to do good through its Giving Goodness program. For every subscription purchased, the Giving Goodness program donates two brushes, or the equivalent in dental care, to someone in need through healthcare nonprofits.
