What is the best and most preventive way to restore a leaking crown margin in a caries-active patient? These patients are usually elderly people who have had the crowns in for many, many years.

There are two categories of materials Dr. Christensen would recommend, because it’s hard to tell an 80-year-old on a fixed income that they need a new crown – resin-modified glass ionomer or conventional glass ionomer. Dr. Christensen describes a suggested technique in this week's video.
