In this week's video, Dr. Gordon Christensen says that if the preparation is made into enamel, it won't come off! You'll have to cut it off. But if it's placed into mostly dentin, there is a technique to make it stay on. He suggests using a 1/4 round bur to make lateral retentive features in the dentin if more than 50% of the veneer surface is dentin. To learn more watch the video.
