What makes a successful practice? Everyone has his or her own definition of success, but being able to offer individualized patient care is high on the list. Budgets don’t always allow for clinicians to fulfill their dental technology wish lists all at once. i-CAT has acknowledged that, and developed the i-CAT FLX V-Series, providing i-CAT premium brand quality in an easily upgradable unit.

This new, affordable i-CAT system can be implemented for less than $90,000. Containing both 2-D and low-dose 3-D digital imaging modalities, i-CAT FLX V-Series proprietary tools can provide important, detailed data leading to effective treatment for a variety of procedures including implants, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, TMJ, airway, and sinus.

For those who require a 2-D pan but still want the option for 3-D imaging, i-CAT offers a two-in-one system with an enhanced i-PAN. Traditional 2-D panoramic images can be captured in a variety of sizes: (1) V8—8x8 and 8x5 3-D scan sizes, (2) V10—scalable 3-D scan sizes up to 10x16, and (3) V17—scalable 3-D scan sizes up to 10x16 plus 17x23 size. All of this is possible without having to invest in two separate sensors or two distinct imaging units.

Quality imaging is the hallmark of the i-CAT brand, and the i-CAT FLX V-Series provides the same consistent image quality across all platforms with full FLX PureScan technology, as well as a variety of low-dose and ultra low-dose options such as the QuickScan+ protocol that allows for 3-D images at comparable dose to a digital 2-D pan. With the i-CAT FLX V-Series, practitioners can grow at their own pace—whether expanding into a multispecialty practice or just adding additional treatment options in a solo practice. The definition of success may be different for each dentist, but this latest i-CAT brings the flexibility to evolve and upgrade imaging to achieve that success in an affordable, efficient way.
