PDT launches professional resharpening program

June 26, 2017
PDT's professional instrument resharpening program allows clinicians to save themselves and their practices time by sending hand instruments to PDT's master craftspeople for evaluation and to restore instruments to their original sharpness.

Dental instruments from any manufacturer are accepted

Paradise Dental Technologies (PDT), maker of dental instruments like the Montana Jack, Queen of Hearts, and Jack B. Nimble Slim, has announced the launch of its new instrument resharpening program.

PDT's professional instrument resharpening program allows clinicians to save themselves and their practices time by sending hand instruments to PDT's master craftspeople for evaluation and to restore instruments to their original sharpness.

Dental hand instruments, regardless of manufacturer, can be sent to PDT for resharpening. Instruments are evaluated by PDT craftspeople to ensure that an instrument can be safely resharpened, and clinicians are only charged for those that can be. Instruments that can no longer safely be restored can be recycled with PDT through its Earthcare program.

Full details, pricing, and ordering information for PDT's new professional resharpening service can be found at pdtdental.com/resharpening/.

Proper instrument maintenance is a must, not only for the safety and comfort of patients, but also to help protect the health of practitioners. Sharper blades allow for clinicians to clean more efficiently, use fewer strokes, and maintain a lighter grip while using an instrument—all factors that can help reduce the development or aggravation of musculoskeletal disorders in practitioners.

PDT is a Montana-based company that has been providing high-quality, handcrafted dental instruments with a focus on ergonomics and lightweight design to dental professionals around the world. PDT's innovative design is responsible for dental instruments and products like the Montana Jack® sickle scaler, Gleason Guide sharpening system and Wingrove™ Implant Scalers.
