DentaCheques changes to help make generosity profitable

Oct. 3, 2008
Unlike previous editions, DentaCheques 2009 contains offers that are tailored to the purchaser's supply company.

DENVER, Colorado--The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped will soon introduce a revamped fundraising value book and its upgraded companion Web site, DentaCheques 2009 and DentaCheques.org, respectively,

The unveilings will take place Oct. 16 at the 149th Annual Session of the American Dental Association in San Antonio, Texas.

Unlike previous editions, DentaCheques 2009 contains offers that are tailored to the purchaser's supply company. This results in product offers, rebates and discounts that are more applicable to a buyer's practice.

Separate books are being produced for participating supply companies, including Henry Schein Dental, Patterson Dental Supply, Burkhart, and Benco Dental in addition to several regional distributors.

Each book grants $130 in invoice credits from the dealer, offsetting much of the purchase price. The entire credits are then routed to NFDH to be used to expand the Donated Dental Services program.

Additionally, purchasers are granted access to DentaCheques.org, where they may request more than a dozen free, no-purchase-necessary products worth hundreds of dollars.

Completing the publication are buy/get offers from many prominent manufacturers like DENTSPLY International and 3M ESPE. Qualifying
purchases can span the entire year.

DentaCheques 2009 can be purchased directly from Patterson, Henry Schein, Burkhart, Benco, and Iowa Dental Supply for a tax-deductible expense of $150.

"Super Book" available only at ADA Session
An additional version of DentaCheques 2009 will be available Oct. 16-18 for purchase exclusively at the ADA Annual Session. This "Super Book" contains offers from participating companies regardless of distributor affiliation.

For dental offices patronizing more than one of the participating supply companies, this special edition can be purchased at Booth #2939.
