Hu-Friedy honors orthodontist/artists for creativity.
CHICAGO, Illinois--Hu-Friedy, a leader in the manufacturing of dental instruments, has announced the winners of the Seventh Annual Hu-Friedy Wire Bending Contest during the annual convention of the American Association of Orthodontics.Residents, established clinicians, and assistants were eligible to submit creative works of art made from single or multiple orthodontic wires. The winning entrants were Dr. Aaron Swapp of Dallas, Texas, who created a multiplewire chess set and Dr. Daniel Nguyen, who fashioned a single-wire Phoenix Bird.
