News of the million tips shipped follows Kerr’s unveiling of a portfolio of scientific research that pertains to SonicFill. The research illustrates how SonicFill’s bulk fill technology compares favorably with traditional composite material and placement techniques.

“We’re extremely pleased with the positive reaction and quick adoption of our SonicFill technology by the dental community,” said Damien McDonald, Kerr’s president. “Kerr is a company with a commitment to our customers to provide innovative tools and solutions so that their patients can receive the best possible care and outcomes.

“The quick buy-in from the dental community and the widespread belief in the protocol we’ve introduced have more than exceeded our expectations,” added McDonald. “It’s gratifying to be able to present a new technology that is literally changing the way composites are done, and we are very much looking forward to unveiling similarly innovative technologies in 2012.”
