MARYVILLE, Tennessee--DenTek oral care has kicked off a national tooth fairy college alongside NBC’s Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Following an onstage Today Show appearance, the DenTek tooth fairies swept through the UT campus, armed with DenTek floss-pick give-aways and a social media push, encouraging students to go beyond brushing for healthy oral care.

The DenTek tooth fairies will continue visiting campuses throughout October from New York to California, passing out free floss pick samples to students, including some with randomly placed “golden tickets” to win larger DenTek sample packs.

There is also a chance to win one $100 VISA gift card per campus, by posting a photo with the Tooth Fairies on DenTek’s Facebook page.

Following the kick off at the University of Tennessee, the tooth fairies will continue the college tour with campus stops at Ohio State University, New York University, Texas A&M, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.

“DenTek’s national tooth fairy college tour is just one way to create awareness for people of all ages to take their oral health seriously by going beyond brushing,” said Charlotte Havely, director of marketing.

“Great oral care habits give a lifetime of rewards, from a healthy, beautiful smile to cost savings on expensive dental work.”

DenTek is a national leader in oral care products found in retail stores nationwide, such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, and others.
