OHA's annual gala promotes "Smiles Across Generations"

Oct. 24, 2013

Oral Health America (OHA) announces its 24th Annual Gala & Benefit at Chicago's historic Palmer House Hotel on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available. DENTSPLY continues support to OHA

The upcoming event's theme, Smiles Across Generations, will focus on OHA's commitment to oral health for vulnerable populations both young and old. Since 1955, OHA has dedicated its work to connecting communities with resources to increase access to care, education, and advocacy for all Americans.

"Oral Health America is excited to celebrate both our history and our programmatic successes," said Beth Truett, President & CEO. "I continue to be amazed by the broad support we receive from the dental community to make sure our programs reach those who need them the most.”

Last year, OHA raised $550,000 to support national programming.

OHA will also honor Anthony Volpe, a leader in public health dentistry for decades at a separate reception before the gala.

The gala and benefit is generously supported by sponsors Ivoclar Vivadent, Patterson Dental, Henry Schein, Philip Sonicare, DENTSPLY International, Darby Dental, Midmark, and Karwoski & Courage.

OHA is offering Early Bird pricing on tickets and tables purchased now through December 31, 2013. For ticketing, sponsorship, and general inquiries, please contact Brittany Wright at [email protected] or (312) 836-9900.
