MADISON, Wis. (April 30, 2014) —The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) will change the lives of up to five individuals through "The Smile Story Contest," offering the chance to win a smile makeover from an AACD member dentist.

Now through June 10th, entrants may submit their own "smile story" and a photo to www.yoursmilebecomesyou.com explaining why they deserve a new smile. After the stories are collected, the public will vote for their favorite smile stories from June 11th to June 30th. Up to five lucky grand prize-winners will be selected by a panel of dental professionals. The grand prize-winners will be announced in September and will receive a smile makeover – valued at up to $20,000 each.

“A beautiful smile has the power to change your life,” said Barb Kachelski, AACD executive director. “If you are unhappy with your smile, now is your chance to get the smile of your dreams with The Smile Story Contest by the AACD. Submit your story, share with your friends, and get voting!”

The contest, supported by Ivoclar Vivadent, will be hosted on www.yoursmilebecomesyou.com.

Legal residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec) are eligible to participate. Winners will be announced through AACD’s Facebook page in September.
