Dentists invited to access advanced education for free

May 7, 2014
Spear Education, a leading provider of lifelong learning for dentists, has recently launched a free Basic membership that invites dentists around the world to join a professional discussion forum and receive access to original articles with a new monthly online publication. The result will be a single destination rich in relevant content, where all dentists can consult with their colleagues on matters ranging from clinical techniques to practice management issues and more.

Spear Educationestablished its business through a curriculum of high-caliber seminars and workshops at its Scottsdale campus. Since the company’s inception, it has diversified the product offering to include an extensive network of peer-based Study Clubs and online education, delivered on a 24/7 basis via its Digital Suite platform. With the new Basic membership being offered at no cost, professional growth has never been easier.

Dentists who join Spear’s Basic membership will be able to elevate their professional abilities through two platforms: Spear TALK and Spear Monthly Digest. Spear TALK is a professional discussion forum and one component of Spear’s Digital Suite. Existing users have found it an invaluable way of reaching out to their dentist colleagues around the world with questions about treating challenging cases, staff management issues, and more. A quick scroll of the posts indicates how prompt, relevant and valuable the responses tend to be. With the forum now open to all dentists, Spear will employ additional moderating to ensure the high quality of the content.

As well as Spear TALK, Basic membership gives doctors access to Spear Digest Monthly. The new online publication features articles contributed by Spear resident faculty, which covers everything from perfecting clinical procedures, to suggestions for growing their practices.

“From the start, our mission has been to help dentists do what they do better,” says Frank Spear, founder and director of Spear. “Making lifelong learning accessible to all doctors is good for dentists and their patients, who will receive a higher standard of care.”

All dentists are invited to sign up for Spear’s free Basic membership online.
