We applaud the Board of Dentistry and the Attorney General’s office for affirming the need for proper training for dentists who are going to use these pharmaceuticals in their practices”, said Dr. Louis Malcmacher, president of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE).

This results in the best esthetic and therapeutic outcomes for patients in areas of dental/facial esthetics, dental sleep medicine, TMJ, and orofacial pain therapy. The AAFE has trained nearly 10,000 dental professionals nationwide in the use of Botox and dermal fillers.”
