TwinPower Turbine 45 Basic offers several unique features of the original 45°. As with the original, its double-impeller rotor design delivers 20 watts of power with constant torque and controlled speed, even under high-load conditions. Its overall head size is smaller than competitive units and thus provides maximum access and visibility with a height of 13.2 mm and a diameter of just 10.5 mm.
Features include rear-facing exhaust vents to direct airflow away from the surgical site. It also offers a unique pressurized air system that prevents suck back in the air line resulting in superior infection control, which is especially important in surgical procedures. The body of the handpiece is chrome with a four-hole (fixed) connection. Other features include ceramic bearings and safe, rapid braking within two seconds.
