Planmeca continues its strategy to expand technology and training access to dental professionals. As part of the initiative, Planmeca has added offerings at the University of Planmeca, which opened recently in Roselle, Ill. The Roselle facility, located in the greater Chicago area, will offer new courses for those wanting to make the most of their Planmeca technologies.

The University of Planmeca resides in a 10,000 sq. ft. space about 20 minutes from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The facility provides convenient access to people in - and passing through - the Windy City. The university offers training on 2D/3D imaging, core equipment, and Planmeca Romexis for dealer partners and clinicians. It also holds key opinion leader events, opportunities for peer-to-peer engagements, and resources for study club functions.

While the Roselle facility officially opened its doors earlier this year, the announcement from Planmeca signals a continued focus on publicizing preview and advanced training opportunities for it's CAD/CAM solutions (Planmeca PlanScan, PlanCAD, and PlanMill 40).

Nine hundred miles south, Planmeca University in Richardson, Tx. (located in the greater Dallas area), opened two new classroom spaces. The Richardson facility will also offer expanded in-office training. All advanced training for Planmeca products will continue to reside on the Richardson campus.

“We made the decision to extend our courses to open up more classes in more locations, as well as in-office, to integrate our customers with the PlanScan system quickly. We are so excited to help support the growing demands, especially in the northeastern regions.” Said Ashley Truitt, Director of Clinical Education for Planmeca University at E4D Technologies.

PlanScan, PlanCAD, and PlanMill 40 are exclusively distributed through Henry Schein in North America.
