Air Techniques, Inc. has introduced Cam-X Luna HD. The company said the new Cam-X brand will serve as the family name for all Air Techniques cameras.

Luna HD enables dental professionals to focus continually from tooth surface to full patient portraits in 720p HD at 30 frames per second. The seven-element lens is integral to focusing ability, ranging from 2mm to 300mm. Dental imaging needs varying from patient portrait, full mouth, bridge, single tooth, and tooth surface are captured with one device.

The ergonomic design features a slender tip and LEDs that allow for exploration of difficult to reach areas, even among pediatric and geriatric patients. Luna HD offers left and right hand use of capture and activation buttons with the 120-degree controls. A one-button image capture enhances chairside workflow. Designed to directly integrate into leading dental chairs, Luna HD connects simply to PCs by USB2 connection.

“We are very excited to add Luna HD to our digital product line,” said Frank Seipp, Air Techniques’ Digital Product Manager. “Luna HD will enhance any practice, allowing you to capture crisper, more detailed diagnostic images that will improve patient communication of treatment and options.”

Cam-X Luna HD has a three-year limited warranty. For more information on this product and other Air Techniques products, visit: www.airtechniques.com, or follow the company on Facebook and Twitter.
