The PowerLase delivers the power and performance to treat periodontal disease following the Laser SoftCare™ protocol. It is also perfect for incising, excising, and coagulating intra-oral soft tissue, including the marginal and interdental gingival, and for other procedures such as first degree caries removal.
Designed to cut and coagulate soft tissue in the mouth, the PowerLase system delivers pulsed laser energy to the treatment site of up to 6 watts delivering a maximum energy per pulse of 200 mJ at 30Hz. The laser wavelength is 1064nm, which is invisible light in the near infrared spectrum.
