Kerr TotalCare launches new brand identity

TotalCare has announced a new corporate brand identity, representing the company's drive toward delivering a full spectrum of innovative solutions to the dental hygiene community.

"The first major initiative will be a return to our company roots, with the addition of the name Kerr to our brand," stated Todd Norbe, president of Kerr TotalCare. "After 23 years in the industry, we understand what today's dental hygienists and dental professionals are faced with every day. Our new brand direction will afford us the ability to offer a suite of solutions to the dental hygiene community so they can focus on providing the highest level of care to their patients."

Kerr TotalCare's new brand identity is live on their website, kerrtotalcare.com and will be featured throughout all of its new advertising and marketing campaigns.

The 2014 FDI Congress to be held in New Delhi

FDI is pleased to announce that its 2014 Annual World Dental Congress will be held in New Delhi, India, from September 11-14. It will be organized jointly by FDI and its national member, the Indian Dental Association.

This will be the second Annual World Dental Congress to take place in India. The first was held in New Delhi in 2004.

"FDI's mission is to lead the world to optimal oral health – and where better to pursue that mission than in one of the world's largest economies and most populous countries?" said FDI president Dr. Orlando Monteiro da Silva. "The New Delhi 2014 Annual World Dental Congress is good for India and good for FDI!"

FDI New Delhi 2014 will follow the already record-breaking 2013 Annual World Dental Congress, to be held in Istanbul from August 28-31, and the highly-successful celebratory 100th anniversary congress in Hong Kong in 2012.

Sesame Communications expands office space to accommodate growth

Sesame Communications recently announced plans to double the size of its downtown Seattle headquarters. The expansion comes through the lease of the second floor of the Reedo Building, adding to the third-floor space the company has occupied since January 2010.

Located on 1st Ave South in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood, the Reedo Building was extensively renovated in 2005 to include energy-efficient systems while retaining its historic façade and personality. The Reedo Building is among the most accessible in the city of Seattle, with a Walk Score of 83 and a Transit Score of 100. To encourage the use of public transportation, Sesame Communications provides a 100 percent transit subsidy for its entire staff.

"With employees throughout the Seattle suburbs and surrounding cities in every direction, we believe downtown Seattle represents the ideal hub and technology center for our continued growth," said Diana Friedman, chief executive officer of Sesame Communications. "This latest expansion of our headquarters will help Sesame continue to attract and retain top talent within the area and provide them with ready access to outstanding commute options and amenities."

BIOLASE enters affiliation agreement with Sun Dental Laboratories, LLC

BIOLASE, Inc. recently announced that they have entered into an affiliation agreement with Sun Dental Labs to form a strategic partnership to sell the Trios family of intraoral scanners manufactured by Copenhagen-based 3Shape A/S. BIOLASE is currently a non-exclusive distributor for the Trios IOS in the United States and Canada, and in negotiations for additional distribution internationally.

Federico Pignatelli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BIOLASE, stated, "We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to partner with Sun Dental Labs, which currently has thousands of doctors utilizing their digital dental laboratory network in the United States alone. Their significant customer base represents nearly a five percent market share of the dental offices in North America. This is a tremendously valuable network and Sun Dental Labs has already provided our sales force with several qualified referrals."

Summer Greer

Territory manager of Dallas and Austin, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana. She has previously worked in real estate and small business services. She comes to her new position with more than five years of successful experience.

Territory manager, San Diego and Orange County, California. He has six years experience in distribution sales and territory management.

Nathan Shack

Territory manager, Alabama, Florida panhandle, southwestern Georgia. Nathan has a Master's in Education from Plymouth State University and lives near Atlanta.

Graham will be responsible for maintaining existing professional relations and identifying new prospects to increase product and equipment sales throughout northern Illinois and Iowa. Territory sales manager. Volk is responsible for maintaining existing professional relations and identifying new prospects to increase product and equipment sales throughout southern South Carolina, Georgia, and northern Florida. Hager Worldwide

Mark Schneider

Schneider is celebrating his 20th year with Hager Worldwide this year. It was commemorated with a surprise party, in which Schneider received an engraved globe marking the date and anniversary. During Schneider's time with Hager Worldwide, the company has grown to be four-and-a-half times larger. Schneider's goal before his retirement in the next 10 years is to see Hager Worldwide grow to be two-and-a-half times larger than they are now.
