Descriptions of pay arrangements based on production or commission
- 17.5% times production
- 50% of collections for all services out of my chair except the exam. Basically, when payment is made to the office, it is entered into the accounting hygiene collections (sealants, fluoride, X-rays, SRP, FMD). The exam goes into doctor collections. At the end of pay period, a report is generated for all transactions in that period. I make 50% of collections. The unfortunate part is, if for some reason payment is not received, I will simply not get paid for seeing that patient. I also have to check the day sheets at the end of every day to make sure payments were put in correctly. Checking every day is the only way to guarantee the front desk doesn't put any hygiene services I performed into the doctor collections. If the money isn't put in correctly, I will never get paid for it.
- The more I produce, the greater my daily commission. The most commission that can be earned in a day is 22%.
- 20% of hygiene income
