Zenith Dental to rebrand as DMG America

Apr 1, 2009

ENGLEWOOD, New Jersey ? Zenith Dental, a company with a 25-year tradition of introducing restorative dental products to North America, will rebrand as DMG America, effective April 1, 2009.

DMG, founded in 1964 in Hamburg, Germany, has been recognized as a leader in research, development and manufacturing of dental materials. DMG's focus is to combine quality materials to yield maximum practical benefits.

Zenith Dental has been the exclusive North American distributor for DMG products since the company's inception in 1983.

According to President George Wolfe, "Zenith and DMG entered this market together and grew together over the past 25 years. As DMG America, we will be able to leverage the global power of a name that has been recognized for 40 years as a world leader in this industry. This is a very exciting step for our company, one that gives us a single, clear voice in dentistry."

DMG America will continue to promote and sell current product offerings. Among these are dental restorative products, including Luxatemp, Status Blue, LuxaCore Dual, TempoCem, and Honigum.

In addition, DMG America will continue to grow and enhance Kolorz, one of the fastest-growing hygiene lines in dentistry. Kolorz products were developed in conjunction with food industry experts.

The company is in the process of developing a first-of-its-kind product, which officials believe will represent a leap forward in dental technology. Launch is planned for later this year.

As DMG America, the company will also continue to maintain its hands-on customer service, support for continuing education for dental professionals, and standard of training and education for its employees.

"We have always and will continue to value the strong personal relationships we enjoy with our customers, as well as the valuable input and accolades we receive from dental professionals across North America," Wolfe said. "This will not change."
