Oragenics Supports NCOHF Oral Health Programs for At-Risk Children

Nov 7, 2011

Charlotte, NC –  Oragenics, Inc., a nutraceutical company focused on oral health products and novel antibiotics, has made a significant product donation valued at over $190,000 to the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy® (NCOHF). NCOHF supports a national Affiliate network of community-based, nonprofit pediatric oral health clinics providing comprehensive care to at-risk children. This generous donation of EvoraPlus Probiotic Mints will benefit nine NCOHF Affiliates.

“National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy addresses the critical need for pediatric oral care in communities throughout the country. We are pleased to support the NCOHF Affiliate network in the life changing services that they are providing to those children most in need,” stated John N. Bonfiglio, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Oragenics.

“We truly appreciate this substantial product donation from Oragenics,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO. “The generosity of companies like Oragenics makes it possible for NCOHF Affiliates to expand preventive oral health services to underserved youth.”

Founded in 2006 to address the growing epidemic of pediatric dental disease, NCOHF supports innovative oral health programming and delivery of comprehensive care to at-risk children through a national Affiliate network of community-based oral health clinics and outreach programs. In just over five years, NCOHF has delivered nearly $10 million in direct funding, donated dental products, and educational resources to the growing Affiliate network through the generosity of dedicated supporters like Oragenics, Inc. This has enabed Affiliates to reach over one million children with vital preventive, restorative, and educational oral health services.
