Institute for Oral Health

July 8, 2010
Conference will be held Oct. 28-29, 2010, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona--The Institute for Oral Health will host its fifth annual national conference, Oral Health in Healthcare Reform, Oct. 28-29, 2010, at the FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale.

The conference will bring together experts in oral health care from academia, private, and public health disciplines. The 2010 conference will feature presentations and discussions focusing on oral health in health-care reform: How will reform affect care, delivery of care, and oral health-care reimbursement?

Since this is a broad and fluctuating landscape, previous themes of early childhood dental care, oral health in seniors, periodontal disease and diabetes, and quality metrics will be revisited as foundations for discussion. Health-care providers, policy makers, academics, dental researchers, dental carriers, employers, and those in public health are encouraged to attend.

The 2010 conference offers nine CE credits. The Institute for Oral Health is a recognized ADA CERP provider, and the National Association of Dental Plans supports the IOH conference.

The cost is $495. Rooms at the FireSky Resort are available at a conference rate of $149 per night. Registration closes Oct. 22, 2010.
