Cheers to the best of the best in 2016 from DE's Breakthrough Clinical

Nov. 29, 2016
In 2016 we hit on a lot of topics in Breakthrough Clinical, our dental specialties e-newsletter, but there were some articles that stood out in reader popularity and thus bear repeating. Editorial Director Stacey L. Simmons, DDS, highlights those articles about endodontics, oral pathology, and other topics of clinical dentistry that readers devoured.

This year we hit on a lot of topics in Breakthrough Clinical, but there were some that stood out in reader popularity. The top of the list included endodontics, pedo, perio, things that no one wants to talk about (but you know those issues are out there), answers (for those questions) that nobody seems to have, and the oral pathology cases that we all encounter. Basically, you devoured the nuts and bolts material with a little bit of complication salt-and-peppered throughout. And pictures—you loved the pictures because, well, they’re worth a thousand words!

Just in case you missed them the first go-round, here are those top articles you need to read that caught the attention of so many other dentists, dental colleagues, and yes, even the general public. Even if you’ve read them already, a recap surely won’t hurt.

And let’s not overlook all of the other publications that are a part of the Dental Economics family—one of my favorites being Dental Economics (see photo!)—along with Perio-Implant Advisory, Product Navigator, DE’s Expert Tips & Tricks, and Dental Assisting & Office Manager Digest. With this fleet of publications, we’ve got you covered!

Last but not least, I want to extend a tremendous thank-you to the individuals behind the scenes who make it all happen: Dr. Chris Salierno, Zac Kulsrud, Vicki Cheeseman, and countless others. Thank you for your insight, hard work, and for helping Breakthrough Clinical be a success. To you all, my gratitude knows no bounds!

A huge cheers to another fabulous year for you, your practice, and all things in-between!
