ADHA changing world seminar

ADHA: Dental hygiene in a changing world is the subject of a seminar hosted by the association.

The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), as well as dental hygienists throughout the country, is well aware that the profession is changing. With numerous states advancing legislation that will impact the way dental hygienists practice, and the number of dental service shortage areas continuing to increase, it can be difficult to predict exactly what the future of the profession holds for each of its members. While this change can be exciting it can also lead to a number of questions:

  • How will these changes affect my current job?
  • Will I be prepared to take advantage of a new opportunity?
  • How will I recognize that opportunity so it doesn’t pass me by?

Questions like these are what prompted ADHA to create a new workshop titled “Dental Hygiene in a Changing World: Leading and Developing your Career.” This one-day workshop will help to address these questions while assisting you in developing your leadership skills and ensuring that you are prepared to navigate the changing landscape of the dental hygiene profession.

The inaugural workshop will be held on Saturday, February 25, in Chicago and will feature a variety of exciting and speakers. The low-cost fee of $99 provides hygienists with eight CE hours as well as breakfast and lunch.
