The National Center for Dental Hygiene Research is conducting a research study, "National Survey of Dental Hygienists: Oral Cancer,” which is seeking "baseline information on the knowledge, opinions and practice behaviors of dental hygienists related to oral cancer prevention and early detection."
The National Center for Dental Hygiene Research is affliated with the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. Jane Forrest, RDH, EdD, is the center's director. Ann Spolarich, RDH, PhD, is the associate director.
The survey seeks the input of dental hygienists who "are directly involved in providing patient care."
