This has been an interesting year.
Business ... a new full-time position, thanks to all who believed and supported my growth in new professional directions. Moreover, a heartfelt thank you to all RDH eVillage readers and your enduring dedication and passion for the profession of dental hygiene.
Personal ... my children are healthy and thriving, and we are rallying around my Dad who was diagnosed with prostate cancer. As he begins his courageous battle with the disease, I am learning to slow down and make more time for my family and friends. In addition, I appreciate every single moment, even those times filled with tears.
As my family gathers at my home this year, I vow to take a moment and celebrate whom they are and the role they play. Then tell them the impact they have on my life.
