The American Academy of Dental Hygiene (AADH) will present a continuing education course, "Implementing the Standards of Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice," featuring AADH member Sharon Zastrow, RDH, on Wednesday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., which is held in conjunction with the RDH Under One Roof conference at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. The course can be attended by all RDH Under One Roof registrants.
In addition, the 2013 AADH annual business session is being held one day prior at Caesars Palace on July 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a networking session from 3 pm to 3:30 p.m., which is open to all AADH Members and potential members (RSVP to [email protected]). A table in the exhibit hall will be staffed with AADH members to greet hygienists and provide information about the academy.
The mission of the academy is professional growth through leadership, mentorship, and fellowship to:
- Foster the continuing pursuit of education and research in the art and science of dental hygiene
- Provide formal recognition of excellence in the practice of dental hygiene
- Recognize distinguished community service in the effort to foster improved oral health.
Its members eagerly solicit like-minded hygienists to join the ranks of those dedicated to lifelong learning. Prospective members are encouraged to visit the AADH website at www.AADH.org for an application or more information on the AADH Continuing Education Provider Program.
