AXIS Dental has introduced the new UltraGloss Composite Polishing System.
UltraGloss is a mandrel-mounted, single-use polisher for the labial surfaces of anterior composite restorations and for the finishing/polishing of intraproximal surfaces and margins.
The flexible design of the UltraGloss polisher eliminates the chance of damaging the restoration with the metal portion of the polisher. Each UltraGloss composite polishing set consists of 8 mm and 12-mm thin, flexible discs in ISO color-coded grits.
The green (coarse) is used for contouring and refining, blue (medium) for smoothing, red (fine) for prepolishing and the clear (superfine) to finish and create the final high luster polishing of the restoration.
The UltraGloss LS-515 kit includes 15 each of the polishers, two Qwikstrips for shaping and finishing the intraproximal regions of the tooth and two mandrels. UltraGloss refills are available in 30 per pack.
