EARTH CITY, Missouri--Biotrol has made an addition to the company's line of infection control and preventive chemical products with the new Purit ultrasonic cleaner. This is the first ultrasonic cleaner that Biotrol has introduced to the dental public. The Purit ultrasonic cleaner incorporates a plastic exterior that insulates noise while making it easier to spot debris at the end of the day from limited cracks and crevices. One feature incorporates a digital timer instead of a manual knob, so the only requirement is the single push of a button to select the time needed to clean the instruments at hand. The Purit is available in two different models--the 1.5-gallon unit or three-gallon unit. The one-half inch drain tube is located on top of the device in addition to the slanted tank bottom so practitioners can avoid coming in direct contact with leaking or leftover solution.It also has a flip-up, removable lid for easy access and removal.
