RDH under one roof hits a home run with a key audience

Now in its 14th year of focusing on education for the dental hygienists, RDH Under One Roof continues to grow … both in terms of attendance and respect from exhibitors.

Reaching the hygienist has become a priority for many companies, and RDH Under One Roof has strived to find the balance between CE courses, exhibit hall time, and fun for the attendees.

"We are finding that more and more companies are looking at our show as a great way to reach their target audience," said Craig Dickson, publisher of RDH magazine, the media source that presents the meeting. "Our main goal is balance the needs of our attendees with the needs of our exhibitors, and make sure both are satisfied so they'll come back on an annual basis."

It seems to be working. Following last year's show in Las Vegas, 96 percent of attendees said they would be back at another Under One Roof in the future. Meanwhile, 91 percent of exhibitors said the show was successful in meeting their objectives and 48 percent said they walked away with 15 or more leads.

"That's what we're striving for," Dickson said. "We want everyone to walk away happy with what we've done and start planning for next year."

So what is RDH Under One Roof's secret to balanced success? Among the top tips:

☞ All lunches and dinners are provided for attendees, with all meals being held in the exhibit hall

☞ Exhibit halls are closed when attendees are in session, ensuring some time for exhibitors to get other work done or relax.

☞ "Bingo card" promotion ensures hygienists visit booths to get their cards filled. All filled cards are entered into a raffle-style drawing for prizes ranging from iPads to Starbucks gift cards to Sephora gift basket.
