Carl Zeiss Surgical, Inc. and Prescott's, Inc. have announced that they will terminate both their Distribution and Refurbishment Agreements effective April 3, 2002. The parties have each, for their own reasons, determined that the Agreements no longer adequately serve their business interests as they have developed over the past two years. Therefore, Prescott's will discontinue its use of the Zeiss name, especially with respect to the sale of used Zeiss equipment, which will no longer be refurbished under license and as authorized by Carl Zeiss.
