Goodbye, Breakthrough Clinical...hello, Chairside Daily

June 22, 2020
Out with the old, in with the new! Right after July 4th, check your email for our newest resource, Chairside Daily. You’ll get exactly what you need every day—in bite-size pieces—for success clinically and otherwise.
Out with the old, in with the new. Yup, you got it; this is the last newsletter for Breakthrough Clinical. At the time of its inception, it was part of a new newsletter fleet that featured yours truly along with my dear friends and colleagues Drs. Scott Froum (Perio-Implant Advisory), Chris Salierno (Principles of Practice Management), and Joshua Austin (Product Navigator).

While our roles have shifted a little over the last five years, we continue to stand in each other’s good company as the winds of change have called for modifying our various platforms to serve you, our readers, with better content in the various arenas of dentistry. With that being said, please allow me to introduce you to DentistryIQ’s new e-newsletter, Chairside Daily.

As its name implies, this newsletter will launch daily with a combination of clinical content as well as product-oriented articles, videos, blogs, pathology cases, and chairside dilemmas/how-tos that will aim to improve your capacity as a dentist and reinforce the fact that we’re all on this dental ride together—be it good, bad, or indifferent. Our learning and network opportunities should not be limited to the walls of our offices.

Along with my editorial co-director Dr. Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, you can expect the real deal as we are both deeply involved with our respective private practices. What this translates to is a connection in the real world of dentistry, because we know what you’re going through. From the perfect outcome of a cosmetic case, a stripped implant screw, cranky patients, and challenging staff issues, we’ve got your back. Chairside Daily’s content will educate, entertain, frustrate, enlighten, and get the wheels turning in your mind. Why? Because if I’m true to the profession (and I am), sugarcoating is not a word in my vocabulary.

If you have questions, we’ll get answers, because more than likely you’re not the only one who is having that same dilemma. We’re problem-solvers—it’s what we do. Spreading mutual knowledge is the best part, because the dental profession as a whole benefits from our collective pool of experiences.

When will this daily newsletter begin? Well, right after we celebrate our country’s birthday, look for something awesome in your mailbox to start your day and week off right. The format will be short and sweet. You’ll know you’re getting the best of the best tidbits before you put on your game face for the day.

I’m ecstatic to be on this ride with you all! Furthermore, I am grateful to you—my amazing readers—for interacting, joining in lively debates, and keeping it all authentic during my time as editorial director for Breakthrough Clinical.

Onward and upward, my friends ... and cheers to change!

Stacey
