The Academy of Laser Dentistry has announced its official Call for Abstracts beginning June 1 and continuing through Sept. 1.
This call is for presentations during Source 2007: Lasers In Dentistry, March 28-31, 2007, at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tenn.
Abstracts arebeing sought to fill the following tracks: Clinical Techniques, Hygiene, Diagnostics, Science and Research, Low-Level Laser Therapy, Laser Material Interaction, High Technology Tools, Practice Management and Your Entire Team Approach to Laser Care.
ALD's General & Scientific Sessions Committee will accept a limited number
of abstracts for presentation. Submissions are due before the Sept. 1 deadline.
All abstracts must be electronically submitted in English. Abstracts may be submitted for: oral presentations, hands-on lectures and workshops, table clinics and posters. This conference will result in an editor-reviewed printed volume of abstracts.
Craig Gimbel, DDS, Conference Chairman and Scott Benjamin, DDS, General and Scientific Sessions Chairman have teamed together. This conference will
represent the breadth of clinical laser practice through learning tracks.
"We urge our colleagues to submit quality abstracts/summaries to present at Source '07. The conference theme is "Reach for a Higher Note in Nashville's to help us to do that by sharing your knowledge of lasers. Whether a seasoned speaker or novice, researcher or clinician, we want to hear from you," said Dr. Gimbel.
This approach is intended to offer an array of
dental laser education to address the variety of interest levels.
Submissions will be reviewed by track teams volunteer members as well as the
general and scientific sessions committee. The review is blind.
