Hu-Friedy® launches an endodontic products company named EI (Endo Ingenuity), and its first product, a breakthrough obturation device called DownPak, a cordless device that enables more precise and predictable endodontic treatment. DownPak softens and spreads root canal filling material laterally and vertically, and compacts it using vibration and heat, either separately or in combination.

Chlor-XtraTM is a sodium hypochlorite solution enhanced with powerful wetting agents and proprietary surface modifiers. Alkylating agents also increase the electrical capacity of the solution.

CHX-PlusTM is a 2% chlorhexidine gluconate solution which includes surface modifiers that lower its viscosity and improve penetration into micro-tubules and cracks. CHX-Plus is ideally used as a final irrigation step for long-lasting disinfection.

New plastic rotary endo file
