The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (ADSM) has announced the dates and locations for it 12th Annual Meeting. The ADSM Annual Meeting will begin Friday June 6, 2003 and will continue through Sunday June 8, 2003. The meeting will be held in the Palmer House Hilton Hotel located in Chicago.
The Academy extends a welcome to dental practitioners, physicians, researchers, academicians, dental hygienists and all professionals involved, or interested, in the dental management of sleep disordered breathing to attend this year's upcoming meeting.
The Annual Meeting will open on Friday with a number of courses sponsored by leading laboratories and inventors of oral appliances. These courses will feature hands on training and valuable educational content pertaining to individual appliances and procedures.
The scientific portion of the Annual Meeting takes place on Saturday and Sunday, with leading professionals presenting the most relevant research throughout the past year in the fields of sleep medicine, sleep disordered breathing, oral appliance therapy and surgical options for obstructive sleep apnea. Also scheduled is an opportunity to address these individuals in an open panel discussion forum.
The meeting will also host a tabletop exhibit hall where attendees can view the latest in technological advancements and newest products available. The ADSM welcomes dental laboratories, inventors of appliances and all dental service providers to participate. Following the Annual Meeting will be the ADSM Certification Exam taking place Monday June 9, 2003 also located at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.
