The theme for this year’s Scientific Session is “Staying Alive” and aims to further explore the role of dental teams in the prevention and management of chronic inflammatory diseases like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cerebrovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition to the science behind the oral-systemic connection, this year’s speakers will also highlight new systems and practice management techniques for implementing an oral-systemic approach into the dental practice.
