WEST JORDAN, Utah--The CAO Group, a worldwide provider of dental devices and materials, has introduced the latest member of its SheerFilm family of products, Sheer DesenZ Desensitizing Treatment with 3% Potassium Nitrate. Sheer DesenZ employs an advanced delivery system. Made of CAO Group’s proprietary thin, flexible SheerFilm material, Sheer DesenZ films are easily placed. The SheerFilm material conveniently stretches and molds tight to the teeth to help ensure complete contact of Sheer DesenZ’s desensitizing gel to the contours of each tooth and gum surface. Additionally, CAO’s SheerFilm design effectively prevents washout of gel or leakage down the patient’s throat. Sheer DesenZ is available in an introductory kit (contains six patient treatment kits) and a bulk kit (contains 24 patient treatment kits). Each patient treatment kit contains four single arch treatment packs. Each pack contains one long film and two single-tooth films (for localized discomfort) to enable in-office application or dispensing for at-home use.SheerFilm products are available exclusively through Henry Schein Dental. Following its Sheer White! teeth whitening films, Sheer DesenZ is the second CAO Group product that features SheerFilm material.
