DES PLAINES, Illinois--Gendex offers a new addition to its dental imaging equipment, the GXC-300 intraoral camera, designed to help build doctor-patient communication and treatment acceptance — at an affordable price.
The GXC-300 provides visuals of the patient's dental conditions that help dentists better explain treatment and, in turn, help patients move forward with case acceptance.
Clinicians and patients alike can appreciate clear, undistorted, well-lighted images due to the camera's precision optics, Sony CCD sensor, and LED lighting system.
Gendex GXC-300 offers dental team members maximum portability and time-saving convenience. The lightweight handpiece is transferred between treatment areas since the camera connects directly to the computer via high-speed USB--no docking station required.
For further enhanced performance, on and off activation of the camera is automatically controlled by placement in the holster. The GXC-300's well-placed sliding adjustable focus and Quad-image capture buttons facilitate quick and easy image capture.
"We understand that dentists seek affordable ways to help grow their practices," said Chuck Ravetto, vice president of marketing for Gendex. "We are committed to providing our owners with digital imaging tools to help them meet this goal."
